Allan Pulaski
Allan Pulaski, a native of Hampton, South Carolina, is the owner of Olde Carolina Landscape and Hardscape, a prominent business in Palmetto Bluff.
With a degree in agronomics from Horry-Georgetown Community College, Allan initially pursued a career in the golfing industry, achieving success as a golf superintendent. His work at prestigious courses such as the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island and collaborations with noted course designers such as Pete Dye and Davis Love III, along with world-renowned arborists, provided him with extensive knowledge in landscaping and the psychology of landscape design. His commitment to environmental stewardship and water conservation was enhanced through interactions with experts like Dr. Miles Smart and Dr. Robert Carrow who are widely known for their sustainability leadership in the golf industry.
Allan's significant influence in the industry has been acknowledged by prominent platforms such as ESPN, where he has made multiple appearances as an expert in his field. Additionally, he shared his expertise by speaking at various seminars nationwide, most notably to the American Society of Golf Course Architects at Notre Dame University. Following a successful stint in the golf industry, Allan entered the logistics world and went on to become a Regional V.P. at Custom Ecology Incorporated (CEI). At CEI, he boosted the company's sales, safety, and performance and was responsible for 250 employees and over $70 million in sales.
Motivated by the desire for more family time, Allan transitioned to leading his company, Olde Carolina Landscape and Hardscape. Under his leadership, his business thrives, grounded in the principles he carried over from previous careers in asset protection, budget adherence, and maintaining schedules. Allan's commitment to both quality and customer service is clear in his method of treating every project with the same level of attention, big or small. Keeping in mind the initial reason for starting his business, Allan is keen on fostering a work environment that emphasizes a healthy work-life balance. He takes pride in creating a workplace where his employees are happy to return each day after spending quality time at home. Away from work, Allan and his wife reside in Savannah, Georgia and value time with their children and dogs, finding joy in watching baseball, and traveling.
